Right angle prism

Betensh Optics Right Angle Optical Prisms are commonly used for redirect of light at 90°. The right angle prism will produce reverted left handed or inverted images subject to the orientation of prism. Aluminium coatings to the hypotenuse & black overcoats will give additional effects and can deviate the path by 180°. The right angle prism can be made in a range of custom sizes and lengths and AR coated. In a full range of materials including BK7, UV Fused Silica, Quartz, optical glasses, Calcium Fluoride (CaF2), Germanium (Ge) and Silicon (Si).

Right angle prisms are often used to change the path of light, or to redirect a beam of light by 90°. Right angle prisms are prisms designed with a 90° angle, producing an inverted or inverted left-hand image depending on the orientation of the prism. Using two right angle prisms simultaneously is ideal for applications where image or beam displacement is required. These prisms are also called specular reflection prisms.
